IndianOil Adani Ventures (formerly known as Indian Oiltanking), is a midstream infrastructure service and solution provider to the Oil, Gas, and Chemical Industry with domain expertise in Terminalling Services, Build Capabilities, and Renewable Energy. We offer a comprehensive range of services to cater to all customer requirements, from initial conception to the commissioning and operation & maintenance of bulk liquid storage facilities.

Since 1996, IAVL has been at the forefront of meeting the storage logistics needs of customers. IAVL is jointly owned by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a Maharatna PSU company, and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), India’s largest transport utility company. This collaboration empowers us to provide customers with unparalleled logistics services and technical solutions in the Petroleum, Petrochemical, Chemical, and Gas storage industries.

Our global pedigree brings curated expertise in developing, executing, and operating across geographies in Energy and Chemical storage logistics. Our Genesis

In 1996, Indian Oiltanking Limited commenced its operations in India. IndianOil Corporation Limited and Oiltanking GmbH, Germany, (a group of company of the Marquard & Bahl's AG) were joint venture companies of Indian Oiltanking. The company was formed to provide transportation and storage solutions for crude oil and petroleum products.

In January 2023, Oiltanking GmbH divested its entire stake (49.38%) in Indian Oiltanking Ltd, and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd acquired the same. The organization was renamed as IndianOil Adani Ventures Ltd (IAVL).

Currently, both the companies - Indian Oil Corporation and Adani Ports and SEZ hold equal shares in IAVL

About Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ), is a part of the globally diversified Adani Group comprising of 10 publicly traded companies in sectors of Energy and Utilities, Transportation and Logistics, Defence, Airports, Road and Rail, Data Center, Real Estate and others. APSEZ has evolved from a port company to an Integrated Transport Utility providing end-to-end solutions from its port gate to the customer’s gate. It is the largest port developer and operator in India, with six strategically located ports and terminals on the West Coast and six ports and terminals on the East Coast representing 24% of the country's total port capacity, thus providing capabilities to handle vast amounts of cargo from both coastal areas and the hinterland. The company is also developing two transshipment ports at Vizhinjam, Kerala and Colombo, Sri Lanka.
